We are a church fellowship that seeks to be biblical in every department of the church life and practice.

This is especially important in the matter if evangelism; for if we want to have Gods blessing on our work, we remember that we are ambassadors of Christ. He gives the orders; we obey Him as servants. When we do this, we can justly expect Him to be with us, His wonderful prescence and comfort supplying all needed grace to acocmplish the task.

We are to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (cf. Mark 16:15). We are to teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (cf. Matthew 28:19). The Lord Jesus says that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations (cf. Luke 24:47)

Preaching and teaching, therefore, are the ways prescribed by the Lord to make known the message of the gospel. This is proclamational evangelism using words. This has always been God's way of communicating, and will be so until the Day of Grace comes to its close.

Words can be heard or read; so the preached word or written word (in the form of tracts, Gospels of John etc.) are valid forms of expression.

As a church, we seek to fulfil the Great Commision (as regards our local situation) in the following ways:

1. In the preaching of the gospel at each Sunday Evening service.
2. In the Sunday School every Sunday afternoon.
3. In the daily personal witness and testimony of each member of the church.
4. In tract distribution on the streets and from house to house.
5. In door-to-door evangelism.
6. In open-air meetings.

We also take an active interest in the workers known to the Grace Baptist Mission (both overseas and nearer to home) and support them in vrious ways.

May the Lord grant us an increase as we sow the precious seed of His word and water it with our prayers.
